In February 2018, we have been organized the special training on Safety and Mobility for the visually-impaired and blind therapists at Omamori Spa.
The training can help our therapists develop a set of foundational skills that will make it easier to move around safely. It also includes getting detailed advice and hands-on training on how to use your residual vision, getting training on how to use a white cane. The trainer also holds discussion and feedbacks after offering a wide range of assignment for our therapists. We do hope to share not only techniques using the white cane but also experiences so that our therapists can effective apply what they learn into the real situations.
Eventually, Safety and Mobility Training 2019 will build a strong team of able, capable, resilient, strong and fiercely independent therapists at Omamori Spa.
